Canal Plus is to buy Skylink

Vivendi’s pay-TV group Canal Plus is to buy European rival M7 for €1bn from private equity firm Astorg. The Luxembourg-based cable TV operator M7 is active in Slovakia, under the brand Skylink. It has 1.7m subscribers in Slovakia and Czechia.
