Kia Motors car plant in Žilina is laying off workers

The Kia Motors car plant in Žilina responded to falling demand for diesel cars by laying off 27 people in its car engine facility. The plant employs 3,800. It cut diesel engine production 35% last year, moving workers to the petrol engine facility and car assembly.
