SNS candidate lacks education and professional qualifications for NBS deputy governor

Jozef Hudák, SNS candidate whom parliament confirmed as candidate for central bank NBS deputy governor, lacks education and professional qualifications for the job, said outgoing governor Jozef Makúch. According to Makúch, this is a purely political nomination, and Hudak immediately disqualified himself by proposing to set up a new health insurer, which is completely outside the NBS' scope of activities. Makúch recommended President Andrej Kiska not to appoint Hudák.

Hudák has no doubts he meets all the required criteria.
