Incheba sold its Czech subsidiary

Slovak trade fairs organizer Incheba (Alexander Rozin) sold its Czech subsidiary, Incheba Expo, to its Czech competitor, ABF. Incheba Expo organizes trade fairs in Prague’s expo area in Holešovice, and ABF owns the expo area in Letňany. The deal needs the approval of the Czech anti-trust office ÚOHS. In 2016, Incheba Expo reported a €0.1m loss on €3.8m sales. Last year, Incheba posted a 62% drop in net profit to €0.9m, and its sales were down 22% to €10.8m. In 2016, it benefited mightily from events related to Slovakia’s rotating EU presidency.
