Mochovce nuclear power plant may be delayed

The completion of the 3rd and 4th blocs of the Mochovce nuclear power plant may again be delayed, said PM Peter Pellegrini. He is therefore going to personally check the progress in Mochovce. Interestingly, Slovenské elektrárne recently confirmed the deadline—this November for the 3rd bloc and next November for the 4th. It also confirmed the current budget, which stands at €5.4bn. When the completion was launched in 2008, the completion deadline was 2012-13 and costs were budgeted at €2.8bn.
