Asahi to change name to Plzeňský Prazdroj Slovensko

Pivovary Topvar, Slovakia’s second largest brewery and recently acquired by Asahi of Japan, is changing its name to Plzeňský Prazdroj Slovensko. For Asahi, Pilsner Urquell was the key reason it bid for several CEE breweries and the Slovak plant in Veľký Šariš makes several Czech brands that account for 70% of its output.
