Slovakia makes progress in Paying Taxes 2018 study
Slovakia ranks 49th among 190 countries in the Paying Taxes 2018 study compiled by the World Bank and PwC, a consultancy. Slovakia moved up seven places compared to last year. It benefits from the relative ease of tax administration, but loses out because of the relatively high tax burden, the 5th highest in the EU.
