Three automotive investors demand tax breaks
The Interior Ministry recommended that the government approve €4.5m in investment stimuli to three automotive companies that plan to invest €48m and create 350 new jobs. Pankl Automotive plans to invest €12m into expanding its plant in Topoľčany making covers for transmissions and engines. The Ministry recommended providing a €1.6m tax break for the investment, which will create 120 jobs. Korean firm Dongil Rubber Belt plans to expand its rubber seal plant in Považská Bystrica. The Ministry recommended a €2m tax break for the €19.2m investment, which will create 150 jobs. German firm Röchling Automotive plans to build a €16.8m new plant near Nové Mesto nad Váhom for the production of car plastics components. It is to create 77 new jobs and receive a €1m tax break.
