Zľavomat rejects allegations that it abused its dominant position
Zľavomat, Slovakia’s largest discount portal, rejects allegations of the anti-trust authority PMÚ that it abused its dominant position and hindered competition. It is alleged to have restricted companies from advertising on competing portals at the same or lower price than on Zľavomat. Zľavomat denies this and claims that its competitors use these practices. It also claims it does not have a dominant position, as it competes with booking.com, for instance. Its Slovak sales stood at €7m last year.
The unfair market practices of Zľavomat are confirmed by its competitors Travelking and ZľavaDňa.
