Union is ditching its Onlia brand

Insurer Union, part of Dutch Achmea, is ditching its Onlia brand, used for selling third-party liability and accident car insurance, after five years. Existing clients will be moved under Union. The digital innovations Onlia has brought are now a standard offering in all insurers and there is no need for a special brand. Its annual sales stagnated at €1.7m.
