The government will provide €575m to repay old hospital debts

The government will provide €575m to repay old hospital debts next year, announced Health Minister Marek Krajčí (OĽaNO). The state hospitals keep amassing new debts, to the detriment of drug and medical device suppliers, as well as social insurer SP. Krajčí is adopting measures to stop new debts, such as centralized management and procurement.
