Tatravagónka posted a 23% sales growth in 2022

Tatravagónka (Budamar, Alexej Beljajev and Michal Lazar), the largest freight wagon manufacturer in Europe, posted an 81% drop in net profit to €8.3m last year, but its sales soared 23% to €560.1m. It continues to benefit from strong demand for environmentally-friendly rail transport. Rising costs, mainly of energy, have eaten into its profits. It is planning higher profits and investments for this year.
