State may acquire U.S. Steel Košice

Environment Minister Tomáš Taraba can imagine the state acquiring the Košice steel mill from U.S. Steel. The state should own the mill only temporarily until it finds a new owner. Taraba will help the company obtain state subsidies for the necessary decarbonization projects. Japan's Nippon Steel is in the process of acquiring U.S. Steel, including the mill in Košice.
