Sme rodina is no believer in transparent selection of managers for state-owned firms
Transport Minister Andrej Doležal (Sme rodina) is no believer in transparent selection of managers for state-owned firms. He had just four candidates for four BoD members of NDS, the highway firm; two candidates for a single BoD member of ŽS Cargo; and a single candidate for CEO of SSC, a road company. Either relevant candidates have not been aware of the job tenders or they are aware that Sme rodina and its leader Boris Kollár are filling up managerial posts in the good old way. These companies are among the largest public investors. Another large investor, energy company SEPS, is under the umbrella of Finance Minister Eduard Heger (OĽaNO). There were 55 candidates for SEPS’ BoD membership.
