Slovenské elektrárne demands €175m compensation from Škoda JS
Slovenské elektrárne, Slovakia’s dominant power producer, controlled by Czech EPH, is demanding €175m from the Czech engineering company Škoda JS as compensation for the supply of defective pipes that caused a delay in the completion of the Mochovce nuclear power plant. Škoda JS, which has belonged to the semi-state group ČEZ since the summer, denies any wrongdoing.
