Russia will not build a new nuclear power plant in Jaslovské Bohunice
We cannot imagine a new nuclear power plant being built by Russia, Economy Minister Denisa Saková said. The supplier will be chosen in an international tender, in which she expects French Framatome, US Westinghouse, and South Korean companies to bid. According to PM Robert Fico, the government intends to make a political decision on the construction of the 1,200 MW nuclear unit in Jaslovské Bohunice this week and wants to start construction within three years. The new unit is to be built by a 100% state-owned company.
