Police took into custody Rudolf Kusý, the outgoing mayor of Bratislava's Nové mesto district and an unsuccessful candidate for Bratislava mayor. He was charged with accepting a bribe; allegedly, he demanded a €150,000 bribe from an unspecified developer for signing a zoning decision for a residential project. The case is well documented as a police agent was involved.
