Banská Bystrica-based PET bottle processor Greentech plans a €16m investment allowing it to process waste into food packaging. All its previous investments came to €13m. It employs 90 and the investment will create 30 new jobs. Its current capacity, 40,000 tons annually, is 10,000 tons higher than Slovakia’s PET bottle consumption. The investment is backed by Romanian Green Group, which acquired a majority stake year and a half ago. Its annual sales top €300m.
