Police think Marián Bošanský gave bribes to help Danish firm Marius Pedersen

Police charged lawyer Marián Bošanský as well as his law firm, USGB (Urban, Steinecker, Gašparec, Bošanský), with paying €3,500 in bribes to Ján Jenčo, head of the environmental inspection SIŽP, in 2022. The bribes were to facilitate decisions in favor of Danish waste disposal firm Marius Pedersen. Jenčo reported the attempted bribery and police were able to monitor the entire process afterwards.

USGB also represents Vladimír Pčolinský, former head of the intelligence agency SIS.
