PMÚ reduced a fine imposed on Austrian waste management company Brantner

PMÚ, the anti-trust authority, reduced a fine imposed on Austrian waste management company Brantner for excessive fees it charged to Martin and Vrútky, from €0.3m to €0.2m. The company may appeal. PMÚ maintains  the firm charged the two towns 16-20% higher landfill fees compared to other towns in 2019-22 and deems this to be an unfair business practice.
