Plzeňský Prazdroj is done with PET bottles

Brewery Plzeňský Prazdroj Slovensko, part of Asahi of Japan, will stop bottling beer in PET bottles at the end of this year, a year earlier than originally planned. It backs the deposit-return scheme for cans and PET bottles that will be launched in Slovakia in January 2022. Last year, returnable glass bottles accounted for over a quarter of drink sales in volume terms. It strives to increase the share of recycled material in cans, currently it stands at 40-50%.
