Peter Kažimír has villa on Côte d'Azur thanks to Jozef Brhel money
A partner of NBS governor Peter Kažimír owns a villa on the French Côte d'Azur. She bought it ten years ago for €1.5m, which she borrowed from Jozef Brhel's company and never paid back, documents from the Investigative Centre of Ján Kuciak show. At the time, Kažimír was minister of finance and economy, and Brhel, according to the police investigation, used bribes to win lucrative IT contracts in the tax authority FS, which was under Kažimír's control. The loan was obtained 11 days after the FS concluded its first contract with Allexis, a company in which Brhel was involved. Kažimír declined to comment on the issue.
