New industrial park near Rimavská Sobota

The government approved the Economy Ministry’s proposal to set up a 65 ha industrial park near Rimavská Sobota. The park will be ready for a large investor, such as a car maker. The Ministry was choosing from five locations in Central and Eastern Slovakia. It plans to spend €9.8m on buying land from the city, landscaping, and utilities. Minister Richard Sulík knows of two potential investors in the park; one of them could create 500 new jobs.
