Monarflex to invest €60m in Štúrovo

Monarflex is planning a €60m expansion of its Štúrovo roof insulation plant. It is part of the multinational building materials group BMI, which also owns the Bramac brand. The plant makes nearly 20,000 tons of PVC and polyethylene roof insulation per year and will also produce 8,000 tons of premium polymer PVC roofing per year when the investment is completed in 2025. The project will increase the number of employees by 50 from the current 120. The plant posted a net profit of €1.8m on €50m sales in 2022.
