Bánovce nad Bebravou-based dairy firm Milsy, owned by the Aichinger and Mayer families from Austria, is the new owner of the sheep milk processor Bryndziareň a syráreň Zvolenská Slatina. The new owner plans to triple production to 120 tons of bryndza cheese per month. It aims to motivate local farmers to increase sheep milk production.

The seller was Zoroslav Kollár, who has been convicted in two bribery cases, faces charges of rigging court rulings, and has been close to the mafia in the past. In recent years, he sold most of his assets (Vinea, Zetor, and the Styla shopping center) and his only largish firm remains the Trenčianske Teplice spa.
