Matovič assaults journalists

PM Igor Matovič (OĽaNO) used the 3rd anniversary of reporter Ján Kuciak’s murder to condemn journalists who assault his government with “incredible hate” and lob “an 11-month shower of hatred” his way. Like other politicians in power all over the world, he thinks journalists are superficial, biased, and arrogant; manipulate people; do not seek the truth but create it; write lies and half-truths; and serve as oligarchs’ nuclear briefcase. He is offended by their rejection of a €10m annual state subsidy for independent investigative journalism.
