Mahle expands its plant in Námestovo
German automotive supplier Mahle is planning a €2.5m expansion of its plant in Námestovo to include the production of air-conditioning units and battery coolers for cars. The project will increase employment at the plant by 130 to 430 upon launch at the end of this year. Now, the plant only makes exhaust gas coolers.
Mahle also has plants in Senica (air conditioning; 400 employees) and Dolný Kubín (bearings; 300). All three plants have annual sales of €230m.
