Kia’s car plant in Žilina boosted its net profit by 75% last year to a record €683m. It operated at full capacity, assembling 351,000 vehicles. The UK, Germany, and Spain were the top markets. The Sportage model accounted for two-thirds of output, with the Ceed model making up the rest. EV4 electric model production will begin in the second half of this year. In 2026, the plant will launch the EV2 e-model, too.
