Ján Sabol is investing in Uzbekistan

A Slovak company will invest $170m in rapeseed cultivation and bioethanol production in Uzbekistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced. The firm has already invested $10m to develop 500 hectares and plans to expand operations to 4,500 additional hectares. (uzdaily.uz) While the company was not named, it is likely part of the Envien group, controlled by Ján Sabol. His AZC group is also building a freight wagon factory in Uzbekistan with local partners Saneg and Gallaaral
