Ján Sabol is investing all around the globe

The group led by Ján Sabol, along with partners Robert Spišák, Ján Ondruš and Mikuláš Trstenský, reported cumulative revenues of €3bn and EBITDA of €200m last year. Among its best-known Slovak companies are Envien (biofuels), St. Nicolaus (beverages), Richardi (transport) and Exata (farms). The group also has extensive operations abroad. It is building two plants for bioethanol and railcar production in India. It owns coffee plantations in Colombia and produces biofuels in Brazil. In Uzbekistan, it is constructing a railcar plant and cultivating rapeseed for bioethanol. In Georgia, it grows hazelnuts and citrus fruits.
