Hoval is investing €40m in Istebné

Hoval, a Liechtenstein-based maker of indoor climate control solutions, plans to invest €40m in a new factory for the production of heat pumps in Istebné, Orava region. Upon production launch in 2024, it is to employ 600 people. The company currently makes boilers, heat exchangers and air conditioning in Istebné and employs 250 people there. Last year, the plant reported record sales of €41m.
German company Vaillant is building a new heat pump plant in Senica, investing €120m and creating 900 jobs.
