Hodorovský invested in InoBat

InoBat (Marián Boček) received €19.2m from EU funds for its battery factory in Voderady, as well as a €15m loan with interest of 14% p.a. from Apollis residence (Dalimír Uhliar). Uhliar, a former soldier, owns several companies with assets worth €250m, and is apparently involved in venture capital. The source of his assets is unknown; media allege he is close to businessman František Hodorovský. The latter owns shares in TMR and many hotels and aquaparks.

InoBat, in tandem with China’s Gotion, is also working on a €1.2bn battery factory in Šurany, with Gotion holding an 80% stake. The government has already approved a €216m investment incentive for the project.
