Hella is moving production to Trenčín

German car parts maker Hella is closing its plant in Bratislava and moving production as well as 150 jobs to its Trenčín plant. All Hella activities in Slovakia will be run by its plant in Kočovce near Nové Mesto nad Váhom. Hella makes car lights (Kočovce), rear car lights (Bánovce nad Bebravou), car body lights (Trenčín) and car interior lights (Trenčín) in Slovakia. It employs almost 4,000 here since it cut 200 jobs last year. (hnonline.sk) It is investing €2m in Bánovce in new production and storage premises that will create 20 jobs.
