Heger to set up new party following amicable split with Matovič
PM Eduard Heger and OĽaNO leader Igor Matovič are considering an alternative of Heger together with Defense Minister Jaroslav Naď leaving OĽaNO and setting up a new party, postoj.sk sources say. Matovič would then profile OĽaNO as a conservative party, while Heger would target centrist voters and try to integrate small parties. Both want to avoid a violent split. If Heger failed to get 76 MPs behind his government and an early election followed in June or September, he would allegedly remain in OĽaNO.
