Haščák demands apology or financial compensation

Penta partner Jaroslav Haščák filed a lawsuit against the state demanding an apology or financial compensation for his detention and corruption charges from the end of 2020. Last year, both the Prosecutor General and the Supreme Court found the detention and charges unlawful. Haščák is also seeking compensation for the losses he suffered after stepping down as Penta's managing partner. Haščák is represented by Dentons, where Daniel Lipšic was a partner until his appointment as a special prosecutor. The corruption charges were linked to the Gorila case.
