Copy of NKÚ sees hidden privatization of VVS

PMÚ, the anti-trust authority, is reviewing a deal in which retailer Terno RE (brands Terno and Kraj; final beneficiaries Martin Fedor, Eleonóra Fedorová, Jozef Tkáč and Ivan Jakabovič) is buying a smaller competitor, Kon-Rad (Pavol Konštiak). Terno RE increased its loss by 28% to €8.9m last year and its sales increased by 14% to €216.1m. Kon-Rad lost €0.9m after years of profits and saw its sales rise 16% to €52.2m.
