BDR Thermea to invest €30m in Vranov nad Topľou

Dutch heating system maker BDR Thermea has launched construction of a €30m heat pump plant in Vranov nad Topľou. When completed at the end of 2024, it is expected to employ 600-800 people. This will be the 5th heat pump plant in Slovakia, following Vaillant, Hoval, Tatramat, and Winkelmann.

The plant is located in the Ferovopark industrial park, owned by Sisban. The company also operates the Sihotpark industrial park near Trenčín, which is home to a company making truck parts for Man.
