Babičkin dvor issued €7.8m bonds

Babičkin dvor (Jaroslav Novák), an egg producer, issued €7.8m 4-year bonds in Czechia with yield of 5.75% p.a. The costs of the bond issue come to €0.5m and go to stock broker Cyrrus. It will use the money to renovate its nine chicken farms in Slovakia, moving away from cage breeding. Now, cage eggs account for 50% of its output (the Slovak average is 80%). It says Slovaks are willing to pay extra for non-cage eggs. In 2023, it will launch an egg processing line and it is also investing in fodder production.
