Akzent BigBoard to merge with JCDecaux
JOJ Media House (Richard Flimel) signed an agreement to merge its subsidiary Akzent BigBoard with competitors J.C. Decaux Slovakia and ISPA, both part of JCDecaux, the global outdoor advertising leader. JCDecaux will hold a 60% stake in the joint venture and JOJ Media House a 40% stake. JOJ Media House operates in Slovakia, Czechia, Austria and Croatia and had consolidated revenues of €220m last year. Akzent BigBoard had €10.2m in sales last year and lost €4m in 2020-22. Both JCDecaux agencies had €4.9m in sales and a net profit of €0.6m last year.
