3-week lockdown for unvaccinated
The government approved new containment measures that PM Eduard Heger (OĽaNO) calls a lockdown for the unvaccinated. Unvaccinated workers in red, burgundy, and black districts will need regular tests. Unvaccinated people will be banned from shopping malls and non-food stores; restaurants won’t open even for vaccinated people in the black districts, though. Mass events will be for the vaccinated only. Schools remain in the same regime as before. The changes are valid for three weeks starting on Monday. If the number of patients in hospitals exceeds 3,200 (currently 2,900), the whole country will be at the worst stage of the Covid triage system.
