Wine as a way to part with money
Three successful businessmen are happy to spend their hard earned cash on wine business. Jozef Jankulák (Spinea) is building Chateau Grand Bari in the Tokaj region in Eastern Slovakia. So far, he has posted €3.5m losses, of which €1m were last year. Jankulák expects first profits in 2030. Igor Ledecký, who was active in Russia and did business with Petr Kellner, is building Elesko in Modra near Bratislava, and since 2015 it has posted €1.8m in losses. Štefan Šimák (7 Plus publisher) invested money from selling the publisher to Penta into a Pezinok chateau and has so far posted €0.6m losses.
