The traditional suppliers of ŽS Slovensko, a state-run rail carrier, have divided up its two large tenders. ŽOS Vrútky (Budamar and Víťazoslav Móric) won a tender to supply 17 new wagons for an expected €33m. Another tender to renovate 35 older wagons for an expected €32.2m was won by ŽOS Trnava (Vladimír Poór). ŽS Slovensko has not published their bids as the results are still being reviewed. The wagons are to be supplied in three years and ŽS Slovensko will use them in Eastern Slovakia.
