The state will not purchase the national football stadium in Bratislava from oligarch Ivan Kmotrík and will claim back €27m the previous government provided towards its construction, announced Deputy PM Štefan Holý (Sme rodina). His audit revealed that contracts between Kmotrík and the state are null and void; he expects Kmotrík to turn to the courts. The previous government approved buying the stadium for €91m shortly before the election.
