Trnava-based car plant PSA is sheding jobs
Trnava-based car plant PSA is reducing the staff in its welding plant by 110 and is shrinking its accounting dept. too, reckons its labor union. Instead of laying people off, it is offering 7-months’ severance pay. The labor union warns a thousand people may go by the end. The management denies this, while admitting efforts to improve efficiency and reduce wages.
