The Žilina Kia Motors car plant expects a 20% drop in output this year, says its CEO, Kyong-Jae Lee. It does not plan any job cuts. It plans to launch the production of a C segment electric car in 2024, and it is already assembling hybrid versions of its Ceed model. In January-May, Kia’s sales in Europe were down 32%, as opposed to a 42% drop in the EU.
