Transport Ministry canceled tender for Bratislava-Komárno line

The Transport Ministry has canceled the tender for running trains on the Bratislava-Komárno line, and will temporarily extend the existing contract with the Czech carrier RegioJet. Carriers as well as analysts condemned the terms of the tender called by the previous government, which was opposed to rail market liberalization. RegioJet was the only bidder in the tender.
