Book sales will dwindle 12-40% this year in Slovakia

Book sales will be down 12-40% this year in Slovakia, from last year’s €90m, predicts Michal Meško, CEO of book retailer Martinus. Besides its online store, Martinus has opened all its 11 stores and coffee shops. Its sales are down under an annual comparison, despite its online store posting a significant increase in orders. Its new service of 3-hour delivery within Bratislava is much liked by clients.
