Constitutional Court judge and former Smer MP, Mojmír Mamojka, has resigned his judgeship due to his contacts with mobster Marian Kočner. He had been providing legal advice to Kočner for many years, until Kočner was taken into custody in 2018. Mamojka originally denied their contacts, but Kočner’s electronic communication and intelligence agency SIS confirmed it. Ivan Fiačan, the Constitutional Court head, has been considering disciplinary motion against Mamojka. The Court still has one ex-Smer MP as judge, Jana Laššáková.
