Shopping centers with up to 35 stores are allowed to open

06.05.2020

Small shopping centers with up to 35 stores are allowed to open today, announced PM Igor Matovič (OĽaNO). If a second wave of Covid-19 strikes, schools won’t open in September. Borders will only open once neighboring countries have such a low number of Covid-19 cases as Slovakia. The state assistance will be still available to stores that have very low sales after opening. Matovič is concerned the economic recovery will be slow.
