Covid-19 epidemic will culminate in late June
The Covid-19 epidemic in Slovakia will culminate in late June, 110 days after the first case, with less than 10% of the population infected, according to an Institute of Health Policy study. Government measures have substantially reduced the spread of the disease; without them, 45% of the population could be infected and the epidemic would culminate in early April. The Slovak health care system should be able to deal with the influx of patients. The entire population will be immune to Covid-19 within 2-3 years.
